Ten Day Detox

If you are anything like me you have probably over indulged through the holiday season. So I have decided to undergo a ten day diet detox to reboot my body and get me ready for Spring. Why not do it along with me?

I got the information from a brilliant book called WTF Should I Eat? by Dr Mark Hyman

What to Avoid

no gluten, no grains, no legumes, no beans, no fruit

no processed meats, no high mercury fish such as tuna.

no dairy

no refined vegetable oils

no processed foods

no artificial sweeteners

no natural sweeteners such as honey

no soft drinks, no coffee, no alcohol

What to Eat

Vegetables of all kinds – raw, steamed, sauteed

Grass fed meat – bison, beef, elk, lamb, ostrich, venison

Pasture raised eggs

Tempeh and Tofu

Fatty Fish – herring, mackerel, perch, sardines, scallops, wild salmon

Nuts and Seeds

Nut flour

Nut milks

What to Drink

Water, water with lemon or lime, green tea, herbal tea.

 

Take a multivitamin, fish oil, vitamin D, magnesium, chromium, zinc

As well as following this healthy plan you can rewire your mind with hypnotherapy. Give yourself positive affirmations each day.
