Make a decision to do one compassionate thing a month. Just one. You can then do it more often when you get the hang of it. You can be kind to an animal or a person.
The more compassion you give the more you will get. You really will. What you give out comes back to you.
Doing kind things will make you feel good about yourself. When you start feeling like this you can learn to love yourself. This will kickstart your healing.
