Affirmations for Healing

Affirmations can help you heal from illness whether it is physical or mental.

What are affirmations? They are just simple statements that you make. Set your intention for what it is you want. Put it in the present tense. Say it out loud. Say it many, many times a day. Write your affirmations on post it notes and stick them around the house. Write them in lipstick on your mirror. Write them on your screensaver. Stick them on your fridge.

Here are some examples:

I am stronger every day.

I am well.

I am healthy.

I have no pain.

I am enough.

I am lovable.

I am safe.

Everything I do is supported by the universe.

I am a good person.

I didn’t do anything wrong.

I have peace in my heart.

I am loved.

I am kind.

All is well.

Saying things like this every day helps you to heal. Say them. Believe them. Act as if they are true.

The Queen of affirmations was Louise Hay. If you haven’t read her book You Can Heal Your Life I urge you to read it.

Don’t ever think that your illness is a punishment. It is not. The universe is compassionate, not judgemental. Your illness is a challenge which you can overcome. You can grow from it and change for the better.
